Horsehair braid is woven from polyester mesh. Horsehair braid is sewn into the hemlines of garments such as wedding gowns. The horsehair braid slightly stiffens the lower edge, softly keeping the shape of the garment. Unlike boning used in hoop skirts, horsehair braid remains flexible and thus less noticeable. Horsehair braid is suitable for most current fashions and is available in many different widths. Horsehair braid is machine washable and drycleanable. Available in 1/2", 1", 2", and 3" widths.
